Marc's Mortgage Matter's

Okay here we go again - a heads up - I got 4 calls today about bogus offers in the mail that look like IRS notifications. Don't fall for it!

Many borrowers receive phone calls and correspondence to lower their interest rate, cash out, new loan amounts and savings due yada yada. I know I do! These messages from various lending companies, many times insinuate a notice from the lender holding your current mortgage, the IRS or similar Government agency, Fairmont or Odyssey Funding and so on. Do not give anyone your personal information or social security numbers at any time.

If you are in doubt you can always call me direct to inquire if the offer is legit, regardless of which mortgage or service provider is currently holding your mortgage.

I deal with at least one burnt borrower each week that had gotten conned into some unscrupulous mortgage situation because something sounded too good. Don't become a statistic.
